A Broader Perspective on Winery Operations

With over 20 years in the wine industry across five countries — from small biodynamic/organic estates to large-scale production — I bring a practical, cross-disciplinary perspective to winery operations. My background spans winemaking, vineyard management, mechanical engineering (refrigeration), and large-scale hydro power project management in New Zealand. I’ve worked in cellars, managed teams, built systems, assisted with brand development, and handled photography and marketing from the ground up. That range allows me to see a winery through multiple lenses — mechanical, operational, financial, and creative — identifying inefficiencies, strengthening quality, and aligning production with commercial reality.
